Helmets are a choice I believe in, but I also believe in the freedom of choice. When shopping for a new one it's always good to go back and review the basics, no matter how many riding years you have under your belt. Or above it

After thinking about it for a few years, finally made the commitment last year to move from a traditional half helmet to a full face. Part of the decision was a local friend who was broadsided by a guy who ran a stop sign. Mike ended up with a head injury that while he has recovered sufficiently to ride again, he still has some issues.
