Silly me I didn't ask where in East TX he was from. Got the new style plate for the bike, sure are almost too ugly, could have been a little lighter in the blue background, and why do they need to put the vehicle letter on them, like P for passenger car and M for motorcycle. Must have some over deep thinkers in the design department.
