Our surrounding area is going through another egg scarcity, I guess because one of the big egg producers that supply this area has had another round of bird flu in their flock and had to destroy all their chickens again.

And on another note the measure to close the sheep slaughter house in Colorado didn't pass on their state ballot.

Morning. How can we already be more than a week into November? Twenty degrees, sunny, and still.

Our neighbor has chickens, from whence our eggs come. I hadn't even thought about bird flu endangering them. I like those birds, even Roaster the Rooster, who is one mean little bastard.

I eat chicken all the time, in all stages. Starting with 2 eggs for breakfast every morning.

This morning it's 34 . heading for a sunny high of 68.
