Thursday June 27

Post by Margarita »

Morning. Breezy by anyone's standards except a person who lives in Wyoming, sunny, 81 degrees and supposed to reach 90.

I figured out how to post content on my heretofore unblemished website and stayed up until almost 2 a.m. playing with my shiny new toy. I might be ready for the next round of instruction from the gentleman who built it for me. (Why do those have the ring of famous last words?)

Morning all.

Started out at 64° over here with some nasty looking overcast and not a trace of a breeze.

Website?

Yeah, maintaining a website is required by the publisher. It has to be up and running a minimum of four months before the book comes out next spring. I don't mind the website, but I am not sanguine about having to have at least one social media site, Instagram being the one suggested by the publicity department. I'd add a copy of the book cover, but I haven't figured out how to transfer photos on this site. Cut and paste into the little brackets doesn't seem to work.

Oh, wait. There it is... twice. Now how do I remove one? Learning curve.

Good afternoon

Another 103 and sunny day.

How can I pre-order a copy of this latest book?

Bless your heart, Mike. It will go on pre-sale early 2025. When I get the website online, there will be links to Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Kensington Publishing, and half a dozen other places I can't recall. It's indiahayford.com, but all that's up now is the cover and an advance review from a writer who is a lot better known that I am. I was pretty tickled about that. (Which reminds me, there's an extra space in the review that I need to ask the guru to fix.)
