My house thermometer says it's 60°in the yard. NOAA weather has been stuck on 11:00 AM yesterday at 85°

Going to be another hot one here in the eighties.


There was a bee swarm in town yesterday, I think I saw it Monday morning outside the physical therapy office in a tree just outside, the wife wanted to go see some flowers in the planter and I noticed them and said we shouldn't walk there, first time she had ever seen a swarm.

Good morning. 82 out right now. Headed for 101 today. headed for the Cactus Farm Landscapers to pick out a new prickly thing to fill a spot in the yard.

Ha. Still morning, but just barely. 84 degrees tops us out for the day, at least according to the experts. Possibility of thunderstorms, but I'm not holding my breath.

Roy left for North Dakota this morning, partially for a high school reunion and to visit his brother, but also to remind himself why he moved away 52 years ago. First time in decades he hasn't gone on a bike. I do miss bike travel, but there's something very nice about soft seats and AC/heating.
