-12° this morning, the snow, "accumulation of less than a half inch" that was supposed to come in really early Sunday morning started around 6 yesterday and accumulated around 4 - 6 inches. had to break out the electric snow blower with help from the leaf blower.
At the other place we had an old Avalon Olympic, it has an inner chamber that circulates the smoke with some kind of pipes up top that reintroduce air that causes it to reburn the smoke. If it was running real good there would be flames shooting out of the holes in the pipes. Around 2010 California had some kind of program that they would replace your old one with a new one if it didn't meet clean emissions standards, the owners were quite excited about that and thought they were getting a new stove installed in the place. But it turned out it met those standards and we found the build tag on the back and it was a 1989 built stove.
