Saturday January 17th

Post by Far Rider »

Morning all . . . :coffee:

16°

I guess a hay truck blew over in the canyon on the really windy day here, took a while for them to get a tow and pull it back upright. I guess tow companies are well versed in getting trucks back on their wheels here as much as it happens here.
One year my dad and I had to drive to the in laws in Denver for something and we were driving my grandfathers truck, on the way back to California, I think it was somewhere around Little America, there was a semi on it's side in the middle divider full of carpet rolls, dad wanted to stop and get some carpet. I said we couldn't lift one of those rolls much less fit it in the back of of our truck.

Morning. 18 degrees and just the bare amount of air movement.

I'd have been way more interested in the dumped hay than the carpet. A semi-load of hay may be worth its weight in gold next summer if the snow doesn't pick up on the eastern side of the state,
Mind the thorns.

You guys experience a whole different life style than me. I did live a lot in the midwest and south however, so I know the value of hay in a dry year.
Temp range today is 41-73, sunny
