Saturday November 1st

Post by Far Rider »

Morning all . . . :coffee:

27°

I think our last trick or treater came by a bit after 9 PM last night, our conditions ranged from rain, snow or just chilly. I think I checked the temperature around 8:30 and it was down to 38°.

Oh yay, tomorrow is time change, turning back the clocks one hour, now to just adjust the 5 AM cat.

Morning. 50 degrees with rain predicted.

Last night was perfect weather for Halloween trick or treaters- a condition almost unheard of for Natrona County. Our rural area was silent as usual, but I drove my grandson over to meet friends in east Casper where it looked like a door-to-door carnival. Latr I drove them out to a haunted barn about 20 minutes out of town. A good time was had by all.

Didn't we just change the clocks? I adjust okay, but it is inconvenient when one has alarm cats, dogs of habit, and horses who don't care what the clock says, it's time to eat NOW.
Mind the thorns.

Good Afternoon.

Today marks the 20th anniversary of retiring from my 28-year Coast Guard career. Hard to believe it's been that long. Time sure flies.

Morning all.

Congrats on your 20 years Mike! My favorite uncle was a coast guard vet. Thank you for protecting me when I didn't know you yet.
Life is like riding a motorcycle. Balance is key, unless you’re at a stoplight and forget to put your feet down. Then, balance is just embarrassing.
