Morning. 27 degrees, sunny, and relatively still. Naturally, tomorrow when I need to drive my grandson to Thermopolis to meet his birthmom, it is supposed to rain and snow. Sigh. I'd figured on a nice Christmas Day walk in the park but maybe not, hmm?

We had our holiday celebration yesterday. My son gave me a new handgun to replace the one I couldn't use anymore, thanks to its incredibly stiff pull and my arthritic hands. The new one is made specifically for folks with arthritis. Doesn't have the kickback the other one did, either. He's been carrying my old one since I gave it up a month or so ago, so everyone is happy. I blew through an entire box of shells yesterday and am off to buy more today. My son reloads, so maybe I won't go broke target shooting.
Mind the thorns.

Life is like riding a motorcycle. Balance is key, unless you’re at a stoplight and forget to put your feet down. Then, balance is just embarrassing.
