Good morning. We've had a good long period of temps in the fifties. It is 50 degrees right now, but supposed to drop into the 30s and 40s over the next week or ten days. I'm headed out to finish pruning back bushes before it gets too chilly to enjoy the process.

It is indeed Pearl Harbor Day. A year or three ago, a local gentleman who survived the bombing of the Arizona finally died. HIs family took his ashes to Hawaii to be placed in the watery grave his shipmates have occupied for 83 years.
Mind the thorns.

Have made the trip to the memorial in the harbor that sits above the U.S.S. Arizona. Still leaking oil, it is the grave to over 1,000 of it's crew. It is a very somber remembrance of what took place that day.
Often asked question: When are you going to think about getting a trike?

Answer: When I come to a stop with this one, put my feet down and can't hold it up!
