Morning everybody.
02° I think it lightly snowed or is very lightly snowing like yesterday morning. NOAA site says we are under a Winter Weather Advisory currently, we might get less than one inch today and less than 1/2 inch tomorrow. Then someone posted a NOAA winter weather warning for the Cody foothills of 2 to 4 inches and slick roads in this same period.
Are they actively trying to frighten people over weather?

Are they actively trying to frighten people over weather?
About fifteen years ago, the weather people started spinning every snowstorm into Snowmageddon and screaming doom any time the wind creeps over twenty mph. Keeping people scared is great for keeping them glued to the media, whether it's weather, politics, or the latest virus. Scaring people is also a fine way to keep them under control. Hide in your houses. Avoid contact with the world. Stay safe. Trust The powers That Be to protect you with warnings and directives.
