Harley's 2025 lineup...

Anybody notice there aren't any Ultra or Road Glide limited models anymore????? WTF???

The Street Glide now costs as much as my 2019 Ultra Limited did brand new!!!! WTF???

On a positive note, the new tech IS really cool. The big screen, no more real gauges, different ride modes, etc. The Whiskey Firestorm color is also cool enough to draw me into a dealer to see it in person. I really liked the Whiskey Fire color of the 2024's. I'm assuming it's the same, with some faint flames added. That really big 117 engine puts out some decent power.

Drawbacks and possible deal breakers:
  1. No Android Auto. They didn't renew the contract with Google, even though Android dominates global market share at 71.65% as of Q1 2024. This just pisses me off more than it is a dealbreaker, because I don't use AA much anyway. As a former IT admin/mgr/nerd I refuse to use anything Apple, and so should you.
  2. The new technology is going to make retuning with anything other than the Harley SE tuner difficult, if not impossible. I haven't been impressed with dealer dyno techs or their results. I'm going to take a wait and see position on this.
  3. Aftermarket needs to catch up with the new engine/head design, etc.
  4. What happens if that big screen goes out? Besides having no gauges, does it affect the engine/ride modes, etc.? I live a couple hours away from the nearest dealer, and ride in remote places fairly often.

I haven't paid much attention to the new lineup. I'm really not a fan of the new designs and they are now priced way out of my range. I have my old panhead to play with, and I'll freshen up the 09 as needed to keep riding.

I hear you on pricing out of my range. They have really jacked up the prices. Not sure what the strategy is there.

They did come out with a Street Glide Ultra a week or so ago. No lights on the tour pak, no speakers on the tour pak. Basically, a Street Glide with a color matched tour pak.
