20°f, it's almost like it didn't snow yesterday, except for those shady spots the sun didn't hit in the afternoon.


Found the fruitcake recipe from some years ago, I use dried fruit instead of the fruitcake citron stuff. Soaked the fruit two days and this time the oven didn't flash over when I opened the door, the first time was quite a surprise.

Back from Seattle last night. Rainy and cold. Glad to be back in Tucson weather again.

Back is feeling a little better today. May try to walk a little further today. I may regret that decision.

My shock du jour was checking my book contract and discovering what I thought was a April 1 deadline is actually a March 1 deadline. I'm not exactly panicked, but a change in schedule is called for.
