Old times & Old places.

Better 1/2 and I just got back from a few days at Colonial Williamsburg. Went there on our Honeymoon 50yrs. ago in the middle of an extremely hot July. Decided to go back in a very cold December, as my parents did (who we, there children, sent them for the 50'th anniversary) to see it decorated for and celebrating Christmas. And, while it wasn't Christmas Day dinner as they enjoyed, we did have dinner at the same location, Christiana Campbell's Tavern. If you've never been, Colonial Williamsburg is a very interesting, educational and fun place to visit. I enjoy watching the craftsman (the silver smith, the cooper, the blacksmith, the apothecary, the blacksmith, the bookbinder, the cooper and wheelmaker and many more) and learn 'how things were made 'back in the day'.
