Good morning

A good staged fireworks show last night.

Too dry for the home stuff.

A nice toasty 105 today with plenty of dry heat.

Morning everyone.

Had lots of street fireworks prior to full darkness. Then a pretty good thunder shower came through for about ten minutes. Then they went back out on the streets and that continued well past 2300.

Morning. Woke up to one of the nestling redtail hawks sitting in the silver poplar tree next to my front porch. Pretty cool. I hope some of the photos turn out.Three smaller gray birds lay in wait for the hawk to fly off, planning deviltry. I think the small birds hassle the hawks just because they can.

Lots of stuff blowing up around here until well after midnight. As far as I know, the county escaped wildland fires. Each year, I'm pleased to not burn up in a fire caused by careless revelers.
