Oh I planted these tomatoes really, really late, most plants were long gone at the hardware store, and then they sat on the shady side of the house under the eves for weeks before I cleared a area to plant them along the back wall. I think it was sometime in June.

Well have fun up on I 70, I spent the night in Hays one trip

Evening. I spent a couple of hours at the Rolling Hills Zoo west of Salina and am in Ogallala tonight. I-70 through Kansas beats I-80 through anyway, but I was only on it from Salina to Colby. I head off at a north to northwest angle at Colby. Pretty country. They're harvesting corn, the winter wheat is coming up, and the sorghum looks ready to leave the fields, too. Home tomorrow.
