51° Maybe raining later?

One of my rides during a Sturgis run we were just outside of Las Vegas and I split off I 15 at US 93 heading towards the turn to Rachel NV (area 51) as I was rolling along I came upon a desert tortoise crossing the road, there are signs in the area saying to not touch the endangered tortoises, but I stopped anyway and helped it get to the other side of the road. The thing had been shat upon by some range cow at some point in it's travels.

Morning. 55 degrees and not going to get much warmer. Cloudy, rain predicted. Yesterday was a perfect fall day. Today will be a normal fall day.

Got my airbnbs scheduled, have most directions written down; will finish those today and get the packing done. I'm not looking forward to the drives into Denver and North Little Rock, but maybe the company and book sales will make up for the traffic.

Gonna have to be really good company.

Good late morning. Moving some boxes in the garage and pulled a back muscle. Nothing major but doing an ice/heat job on it today.
A steady 70's to 90's today and into next week.
