I've tested the software and upgrade procedure as best I could, so it should go smoothly. But...........

The upgrade will be scheduled for sometime Saturday night or early Sunday morning, depending on when I get to it. Total upgrade time will be about 1 hour (hopefully less).

I created a clone of this forum and applied the updates. If you want to (I encourage you to) help test/debug before the actual upgrade happens you can go to https://www.hogsty.com/forumclone Just be aware that anything created, replied to, or uploaded in the clone forum will be deleted when the upgrade happens.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and wish me luck!

Upgrade is complete and as far as I can tell was successful.

If you notice any funny business please let me know.

Enjoy!

I doubt I'll ever use fakebook again.

And, you're welcome. Thankfully, this forum doesn't take a whole lot of time or energy to maintain. After migrating all my sites away from Hostgator all my hosting issues have completely disappeared. The biggest time suck now is dealing with all the spammers/scammers/Russians who want to register to post their garbage.

I was the main moderator for a dance forum for around ten years and a sub-moderator for a decade before that. The administrator installed some kind of program that immensely reduced the time I spent smiting spammers, though there was still smiting to do of the more insidious beasts.
