Morning all . . .
55° and predicting 100° here today, made it to 98° yesterday, but we could open the house at 10 last night when it finally dropped to 72°
Aw yes the old VW's, one year trip between CA and CO the '67 type II heater boxes came unhooked and we only were getting heat up in the front in November. That thing could go some places.

Morning. Sunny, 76 degrees, headed for 99. I leave for Washington tomorrow morning. Am I packed? Don't be silly. Of course I'm not.
I paid a friend to rebuild my VW engine before I moved to Wyoming. He didn't want to bother hooking up the heater, so I lived with no heat in the car for two and a half years in Laramie. I used to drive with one hand and scrape the ice off the inside of the windowshield with the other. Went through three engines in that little car. Finally sold it thirty years after I bought it to my son's best friend who drove it until the transmission gave up the ghost. Nothing in the world like an old bug.

Good morning. Heading to 112 today. I am leaving for a flight to Wilmington, Delaware this afternoon. Predicted to rain all this week, with temps in the high 70's. Going to trade an oven for a shower for a week.
