Morning all . . . Have a happy Fourth of July.


54° had a trace of a thunder shower roll through last evening, made some spots on the ground.

Some days here you can hear the train whistle (horn) really clear up here at the house and others you barely notice it. Has to be something with the direction of the atmosphere.

Happy 4th !! No rain yesterday or today. The rain we had the other day brought out the creepy crawlies. Found a scorpion walking around the patio. A little cooler [98] and sunny.

Good morning and happy Fourth of July. Roy and I considered getting married on the Fourth in order to form a more perfect union and ensure domestic tranquility, but decided we would do better with a date when all our friends weren't up in the mountains or out at the lake. Right now, it's cloudy, 69 degrees with a high that is only supposed to slip over 80. Intermittent bursts of wind whip through, interspersed with moments of relative stillness.
