Morning. Cloudy and 24 chilly degrees with snow on the ground. Hard to believe I just spent two weeks in spring and that it still exists somewhere in the world. A Texas friend asked how I could bear to leave my garden behind in April. Apparently she can't believe that winter still exists in the northern hemisphere in April.
Back to work today. At this moment (and several previous moments), I am regretting that I agreed to work through the end of May instead of departing the end of March as originally planned. I enjoy road trips, but spending two consecutive days of ten hours on the road is not quite as easy as it was even a couple of years ago. Wimpiness has invaded my character.
Thursday April 18
Re: Thursday April 18
Morning friends, yes it is still too early to plant garden things in this yard or the yard I moved from, the last place, Bridgeport CA, it was best to hold hold off planting flowers or vegetables until the end of May, unless you were preforming a plant sacrifice to the frost / freeze gods.

Usually pretty safe after Mothers Day here.
Often asked question: When are you going to think about getting a trike?
Answer: When I come to a stop with this one, put my feet down and can't hold it up!
