13° and a light breeze is moving the flag out front.

I sure hope the WH drain valve is cooperative about opening and closing to try to drain the sediment. Sometimes if it hasn't been drained every year the sediment builds up in the bottom enough that it won't allow the water to drain and flush the sediment out. Just had mine, a electric WH, replaced about three months ago as it was getting over ten years old and I don't want the emergency issue of it leaking and needing replacement in the middle of a blizzard.

By the way if you have McCafe decaffeinated keurig coffee pods there is a "soft" recall, because some may contain caffeinated coffee, not that I use them but saw a news blurb about it yesterday. Gave me a chuckle.

Good morning. I decided to go with a tankless water heater. A little more in cost but has a 25 year warranty. It will far outlast me.
Cloudy but warmer today. 50-71. My sweetie wants to make lemon tarts, using lemons fresh from our tree. Yummy.

Morning. Forty degrees and a bit of wind stirring the branches. Overcast.

Two of the only things I miss about central California and south Texas is fresh fruit and the smell of orange blossoms. As we moved around with my dad's job, we lived in lived in an orange grove, a walnut grove, and a fig orchard.

Coffee contaminated with caffeine. Remarkable.
