Water heater is in and the leaking sprinkler supply valve has been replaced. Had to keep emptying the catch bucket once a week during the winter while the sprinkler system was shut off, due to a slight leak of the ball valve.

The pronghorns are really showing up in the sage desert between Shoshoni and the dam. Don't know what they are eating besides dried up scattered clumps of grasses out amongst the sage. Then there are the road killed skunks and raccoons on the way into Riverton.

But it's true. There was a time going through the SLC area really sucked, because after the extreme high waters of the lake, was that in the late eighties?, the rotting smell of the vegetation was overwhelming for years while driving through. But the saying is in reverse.
