The year they were reroofing the motel was the year the motel had been bought out by a Hindi family. I think after that year they moved the gathering to somewhere nearby, and then they moved it to the Ingram location. I'm not sure, but I think T still keeps in touch with Dinero.
Well got back yesterday from a wonderful four state finish of a seven year journey to visit all 50 states.
Wrapped it up in beautiful "Sweet Alabama". Back home for a month and then off to New Orleans for a Nam Vet reunion.
Weather today is 84 and cloudy. Rain is expected tomorrow.
Sunny and 40 degrees in central Wyoming. Supposed to warm up over the weekend. I'm scheduled to teach a nature writing program on Saturday morning, and would like for it to be a field trip instead of two hour last-minute PP and lecture.
Congratulations on wrapping up the 50 States, Mike. My daughter's goal was to visit all 50 states by the time she was 26. She made it everywhere except Alaska. She still hasn't been there. If travel had been free, we'd never have seen her again. She went to Thailand by herself when she was 25. She and my granddaughter went with me to Scotland and Iceland, but the second granddaughter might complicate travel logistics.
